ABOUT US

EXECUTIVE BOARD
We are Warrior Women who want to teach, love and pour into those who need us most.  We all come from different walks of life  and we have walked with God to guide us down the path called life.  We want to be the hands of feet of Jesus.  We are blessed  to mentor, teach and support our residents and their children so they can grow to be warrior moms themselves.  

WHERE IT ALL STARTED
Seeing a need we created a hands on organization to help those in generational poverty in our community.  We worked hard, Prayed hard and got our  home in Dec 2017. We opened our doors October 16, 2018  We've grown and have helped many families (21 moms and 30 kids), all thanks to the helping hands like yours of this amazing community!

OUR MISSION
 We are C.A.L.M. Organization, Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our goal is to break the generational bonds of poverty for single moms and their children in Northwest Florida. Our vision is to rehab a home in Niceville for single moms and their children living in crisis such as homelessness. We will teach them how to live independently and transition into their new life. The moms and kids will live with us while participating in our five month program. We welcome you to come along side us, and learn more about our local nonprofit organization. 


CALM BELIEVES
STATEMENT OF FAITH

CALM Organization Inc. stands ready to serve moms and children in crisis by showing the love of God in action. We will accomplish this by being the “hands and feet of Jesus” to those he has entrusted in our care. We will “love them like Jesus does”.
  1. We believe there is only one God eternally existing in the trinity of three, God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Spirit (Holy Spirit). (Matthew 28:19) 
  2. We believe the Bible is divinely inspired, written for revelation to man and is to be used as our guide for our daily living. It is without error or omission and is the infallible word of God. (II Timothy 3:16)
  3. We believe Jesus was born a virgin birth, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for our sins, rose (from the dead) to life and sits at the right hand of God. He is the world’s only savior and is the sovereign God of all. (John 14:6) 
  4. We believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit and the power he brings to perform new birth and life in the unbeliever and thereby indwells believers enabling them to live a Godly life with Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:14) 
  5. We believe Salvation is achieved by faith in Christ Jesus by having a personal relationship with him. His death, burial and resurrection and God’s living presence today are for all to receive. (Ephesians 2: 8-10)  

PRAY

  "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." -Philippians 4:6

We believe in the power of prayer.

  • peace for the moms and children currently with us
  • the continual spread of the gospel through our ministry
  • strength and stamina for the volunteers involved
  • opportunities for all of the families who are still in need
  • continued clarity for CALM to see the best ways to serve our community.
